Rare Elements Hair

For the past few years I've been trying more clean beauty products than I can count.  I've been making a gradual change to all things clean beauty, and I didn't realize just how many products I used until I started my testing (and purchasing) of different beauty fixes.  As a hair color (and hair expert in general) I knew that finding shampoo and conditioner that didn't disappoint was going to take time.  I tried many brands to know avail...until I bought Rare Elements hair products.  After testing so many and feeling disappointed, I no longer got excited when new things arrived in the mail.  I lost hope that anything was actually going to work.

When my Rare Elements essential conditioner  and Rare Elements Pure Shampoo  arrived initially, I opened up the box with bated breath.  The packaging was beautiful, white sleep and modern.  Maybe it's vain to care about such things, but I do.  There's a reason why manufacturers invest in beautiful packaging...it matters.  Scent is a huge factor in whether I can use a product or not.  Anything with synthetic fragrance is a hard no for me, but sometimes the scent of clean products can be a bit much as well.  I opened up the top of the shampoo and it smelled fresh, but not overpowering.  Natural, but without the odd, heavy smell of incense that some makers seem to use.

My hair is so dry normally.  It's naturally brown, but I have a one process color to cover grey, combined with tons of blonde highlights that are done using bleach.  It's curly, so I use a very hot blow dryer to straighten it, and it tangles in a pretty unbelievable way.  The Rare Elements pure shampoo cleansed it thoroughly with one shampoo  (I wash it every 2 or 3 days) and just a little bit of the Rare Elements Essential conditioner left in soft, and as tangle free an waist length hair can ever hope to be.  This line is my favorite hair care line I've ever used and has no silicone, synthetic fragrances AND it is not tested on animals.  For those of you that are looking for an effective and luxurious product, this is it.

I think the essential conditioner is optimal for thick, dry hair like mine.  It's one of the best products I've used for dry hair. For finer hair I'd use The Rare Elements Essential Lite Conditioner

Have you tried any clean hair care lines before?  I'd love to hear which ones you like.  Please share in the comments below.

Stay healthy and beautiful!

I am so impressed with how soft and shiny my hair is, and I agree…it never feels greasy. The products really improve my hair from the inside out. I also love that they are natural, and paraben free!
